Melissa Jenkins, Parenting Expert, has a Master's Degree in Special Education and has worked with children from infants through college. She has taught child development and behavior management at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and was the Director of Education at a large Psychiatric/Behavioral Facility. She currently serves as an expert on the panel of a national company that lovingly provide age appropriate toys and books for children from birth to age five. Melissa values research and has had her work published in the American Annals of the Deaf.
As a public speaker, Melissa Jenkins is funny, warm, and insightful, encouraging parents to take the plunge and do the work necessary to get amazing results. She has presented at the local, state, and even international level. The strategies she teaches are effective and practical. When intentionally followed, tools are given to transform the family. As a military spouse, she and her husband have raised two beautiful daughters. Struggling with learning disabilities, they are both currently in college pursuing amazing futures.
